In 2014 Magley Design was commissioned to design a prominent courtyard for the Northland Church in Lake Mary Florida.  The church was improving the restaurant and media center just inside the courtyard and wanted to expand on the concept and provide a multi-use space that could be used for outdoor dining, a quiet study area, an outdoor classroom and church services area, public events and weddings.  The design includes a main stage made of a concrete pedestal backed by a round baseball backstop with vines to grow on it.  Just outside the dining area is a circular shade structure covering dining tables with a water feature fountain as a central focus.
